New York, NY – September 29, 2020 – Lincolnshire Management, Inc. (“Lincolnshire”), announced that its portfolio company TRUE Sports, a leading developer and manufacturer of hockey, golf, baseball and lacrosse products has acquired Canadian-based goalie equipment manufacturer, Lefevre Inc. The acquisition will add innovative technology to TRUE Sports’ advanced research and development portfolio and expand TRUE Hockey’s reach into the goalie equipment market segment.
Lefevre, a family business, started making goalie masks in a basement in 1967 and produced its first goalie pads in 1987. After more than 25 years of designing and manufacturing products for other companies, Lefevre launched its own line in 2020. During this year’s NHL playoffs, 4 goalies sported Lefevre equipment.
